1.     In its recent meeting the IASV board had detailed discussion about prioritization of the construction projects. The following projects were approved for the next three years unanimously (the projects appears in time chronology):

a.     Construction the driveway starting from the mailbox to the end of the parking lot near septic tank. This will serve as one way entrance. Paved parking lot will be the one exit. One way exit on the minaret side will be closed.

b.     Grading of the area behind the mosque up the septic tank.

c.     Paving the parking lot adjacent to the currently paved lot all the way to the trash dumpsters and to the kitchen area. This will also create several new parking spaces. The money for most of this project already has been budgeted; the rest will be solicited from the community. This project is expected to be started in early spring and completed by the summer.

d.     The next phase will be construction of minaret and dome, which is badly needed to strengthen the structure of the current building. Funds will be solicited from the community and project is expected to begin early next year.

e.     The last phase of the project will be construction of the annex hall on the designated space east side (highway side) of the building. Major fundraising drive will have to be conducted.

f.      These projects will be posted on the website. Maps and drawings will also be posted in the lobby.

g.     Afridi will introduce the projects after the Friday prayers on January 13 and subsequent Fridays if needed.
