All Community Members are expected to adopt the Following Best Practices for the Mosque’s Protection, Long-Run Viability and Sustainability:

1.     Please make sure all three doors are locked if you are the last person leaving the mosque.

2.     Please turn off all lights and make sure all windows are locked before you leave.

3.     No political gatherings allowed at the mosque.

4.     There will be no private gatherings in the mosque without the prior explicit permission from the board. When you hold a gathering in the mosque, you are responsible for cleaning the mosque and disposing of the trash afterwards.

5.     People holding mosque keys must not make any duplicate keys without prior permission of the board.

6.     No literature (in any language) can be distributed in the mosque without prior permission of the board. No brochures of any kind from any organization (charity or otherwise) can be displayed or placed in the mosque without prior permission of the board.

7.     No fundraising activities (small or large) can be held at the mosque.

Approved by the IASV Board in 1999, modified and reaffirmed in 2001 and reaffirmed in November 2009.
